Originally I was a mechanical design engineer then I got better and became an artist which in some peoples eyes could be debatable but as you will see I can actually draw in some detail as seen in the car and motorbike illustrations. So I don't just play around with acrylic ink and paint although I really do enjoy abstracts they are fun to create, I never really have a definite painting in mind when I start, it just evolves as I go until I can see where its going then work on it until I like the finished result. I must admit it doesn't always work and many painting get worked over again or I give them to Penny who works on top and often uses my painting as a back ground

I am still learning and experimenting using different methods and materials, with the abstracts there is always a new interaction happening with working wet on wet with ink

I am a firm believer that any Art exists in the eye of the beholder, especially with abstracts so you either like what you see or don't. you don't have to understand it just think yep I'd put that on my wall either it matched the curtains or not
